I started my apprenticeship in 1994, at the age of 24 under the wonderful guidance of Australian champion hairdresser Kerry Wilson. Kerry taught me all that I could learn about hairdressing from the skills of colouring/foiling/style cutting (especially fine hair) to the running of a successful, professional and friendly, welcoming salon. After 3 years of training and winning “first place” in Newcastle’s Hairdressing Competitions for “Women’s Total Look” it was time to spread my wings! I worked at another very well respected salon in Newcastle, and then ventured out and opened “Langdon Hair”.
My aim for Langdon Hair has and always will be to create a beautiful warm environment for our clients, I am a very determined and focused person and somewhat of a perfectionist, so I make sure my clients are always 100% happy with the look I designed for them.
My favourite aspect of hairdressing is to give my clients a whole fresh new look as often as they will let me, I love to change their colour and style to go with the seasons and current trends, I consider myself a specialist in fine hair cutting enabling any fine hair client the ability to look as though their hair is full of body. I have a passion for colour and I will be as tame or courageous as you let me be!!
